The PetSafe Pawz Away "Rock" Outdoor Pet Barrier system is completely waterproof and runs off batteries, making it perfect for outdoor use. Keep your dog away from problem areas like gates, driveways, gardens and bins.

How It Works

The Petsafe 'rock' transmitter, designed to look like a rock, emits a radio signal that can cover a diameter of 4.5m in the wireless option. or can be extended with the use of the 45m insulated boundary wire. Your pet wears a collar that responds to this radio signal, initially with a warning sound, followed by a correction. Should your pet remain in the zone area, the correction will gradually increase its intensity, to persuade the animal to move on.

Safety Feature

If for any reason, your pet remains in the PetSafe Pawz Away Pet Barrier zone area for any longer than 15 seconds, the collar will cease delivering the static correction. Instead, the collar will start to deliver random single corrections every 5 to 10 seconds at the maximum level until your pet leaves the area. Once your pet moves away, the collar automatically resets itself and will resume normal correction next time your pet enters the zone area.
