The Petsafe High Output Invisible Dog Fence can contain escaping dogs in an area up to 10 acres (with additional wire). When your dog approaches the wire of the dog fence, the waterproof collar(receiver) on your dog picks up the radio signal and alerts him with a warning tone. If he continues towards the dog fence boundary he will receive a correction at the level the collar is set to. This level can be a Paging/Vibration option or a static pulse of  Low, Medium, Medium-High, or High output. The PetSafe radio transmitter features an in-built microprocessor based code to elimate any false signals to prevent other nearby appliances activating the collar.

How the Invisible Dog Fence works:

Once the transmitter is plugged into a power point and the boundary wire connected, it will emit a radio signal that will travel along the boundary wire. As your dog nears the boundary wire of the dog fence, the collar picks up the radio signal and gives your dog a warning tone. If he continues towards the boundary wire, the containment system collar will emit the set level of stimulation.

The PetSafe RF275 dog fencing collar is designed for large or stubborn dogs. It has 5 stimulation levels, the first level being a warning tone with vibration. You can also set the dog fence collar to Low, Medium, Medium-High or High stimulation levels. Thanks to the easy setup, you can place the collar on the correction level best suited to your dog's temperament.

The PetSafe RF275 containment system collar also has a memory backup function, after you replace the battery of the collar, you don't need to reset the correction level. The LED light will tell you about the correction level last set.
